Silicone Rubber Feet Pad Used in Instrument and Controller
Silicone rubber is an elastomer-containing silicon together with carbon,hydrogen, and oxygen. Widely used in industry. It is generally non-reactive, stable, and resistant to extreme envioronments. Heat and cold resistance, weatherability, moisture and steam resistance, oil solvent and other chemicals resistance, electrical insulation, thermal conductivity, flame retardancy, electrical conductivity, compression set, flex fatigue resistance, tear strength and tensile strength, radiation resistance, vibration absorption, releasability and non-corrosivity.
Silicone part are usually used together with double-sided adhesive tape. It can be used as cushion in computer, wireless charger, etc. It is not so smelly as NR rubber, this is why it is so popular. But NR, NBR are also needed in the case where people will not touch them. EPDM is required under the sunshine or malcondition.
